Peacefully at ARCH on January 26, 2019 with family at his side at the age of 78.
Son of the late Henry Brunton and Margaret (Keenan) Brunton. Dear brother to Colleen Green, Michael (Debbie) Brunton and Maryanne (George) Campeau of Sudbury. Predeceased by his grandparents John and Lucy Brunton of Sudbury
and John and Maryanne Keenan of Sault Ste Marie. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Glen and Gail Campeau of Sudbury, Margaret (Paul) Sim,
David (Julia) Brunton of Orillia, Sherry (Paul) Berlingieri, Brent Sim, Cory Campeau, Finn Brunton and Liam Berlingieri. As a young man Don enjoyed playing football, hockey and basketball. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and driving his 63 Ford Galaxie. The family would like to thank the staff of the Davey Home for the excellent care given to Don over the years. Special thanks to Sharon Corcoran and the team on Driftwood. We would also like to thank the SAH for their wonderful care, ARCH for their care and compassion, as well as Father Paul Conway, Gord Bachmeier, Don Barill and Patricia Thompson.
A private family service will be held at O’Sullivan Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to ARCH.
