Passed away at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Olwyn for 58 years. Loving father of Susan Brothers (Jack McGoldrick), Patricia Bonell (Tom), Sharon Brothers (Tim LeBlanc) and Linda Vernelli (Doug Place). Grandfather of Lindsey, Katie and Gavin McGoldrick, Kelly and Sarah Bonell, Alysha and Jarret Vernelli. Son of the late John and Frances Brothers. Dear brother of Marie Caputo (Joe). Brother-in-law of Tom Slater (Diane) of England. Bernard will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and as a special friend to Martha and Dave Ramsay. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Hamish Currie officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
