It is with great sadness that we announce that, on Tuesday, January 7, 2003, our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Emma, left us to reunite with her husband, Giuseppe and daughter Rosanna Consoli. She passed peacefully in her 78th year at the General Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. She always faced life's challenges with strength, courage and a sense of humour. This is her legacy to her family. She will be forever missed by her children Franca (Carmen Lepore), Mike (Benita) and Frank (Debby). Cherished Granny of Carmela Lepore (Ralph), Laura Lopes (Tony), Romina Ruscio (Joe), Gisella Krezek (Cale), Mirella Caruso (Louis), Emma, Dino (Lisa) and Deni Consoli, Tricia, Joey, (Lisa), Michael and Steven Brogno. Adored super-nanny of Jordyn & Adrian Lopes, Morgan & Joey Ruscio, Michael, Miranda, & Matthew Caruso. Beloved sister of Pasquale (Fiorenza), Giuseppe (Anna) and Esterina (late Emilio) of Toronto, Filomena (Francesco), Adelina (Luigi), Benita (Giovanni), Rodolfo (Maretta) and Ettore of Italy and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Welcoming her into Heaven are her parents, Renato and Maria Bissola and her in-laws, Michele and Rosina Brogno. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Thursday from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Veronica's Church on Friday, January 10 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Paul Conway officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or the Van Daele Manor Residents Council would be appreciated by the family.
