The family of Marie Aileen Brodie regret to announce her death Wednesday October 17, 2007; Marie Brodie in her 71st year. Beloved wife of the late Bill. Cherished mother of Michael (Janine) and Bill (Cindy). Beloved Grammie of Heather, Ian, Matthew and Kevin. Daughter of the late Ivan and Aileen Gavin and step-daughter of Donelda Gavin. Dear sister of Myrne Scott (George), Ray Gavin (late Helen), late Peter Gavin (Ivy) and the late Berta King (Wayne). Daughter-in-law of the late Alf and Ethel Brodie. Sister-in-law of Tom Pratt (late Norma), Doreen Opper (Cliff) and Margaret Brodie. Marie will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Sunday, October 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Mrs. Joy McPhee officiating.
