Our family announces with great sorrow the death of our husband and father Raymond Adrien at the age of 60 years, who passed way on Friday, January 6, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ray was born in Saint Fabien du Panet, Quebec October 28, 1945. He moved to Sudbury, then to Hanmer, Ontario when he was ten years old. He later moved to Sault Ste. Marie in November 1974. He leaves a legacy of cherished memories and smiles. Beloved husband and best friend of Theresa (Sawyer) of Capreol. Loving and proud father of Heidi of Ottawa, Raymond (Tania of Wawa), Wendy (Jason) of Sault Ste. Marie. Son of the late Louis-Aime Brisson and the late Marie-Anna (nee Marceau). Dear brother of Suzanne (Clarence Lewis), Solange (Roger Boudreau), Rolland (Jacqueline Asselin) and Jocelyn Kelm all of Hanmer, Ontario. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Ray will be remembered for his perseverance, smile, tact and wit. He loved his family, friends, his work, ski-dooing, flying and especially his camp. He loved to fish and to him, catching a fish was just a bonus. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jerome Church with Reverend Hamish Currie officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic or Oncology Unit would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Dr. Keith and Collette, Dr. Waymouth and the many nurses for the expertise, time and care.
