The family is deeply saddened to announce her death at the General Hospital on Thursday, September 13, 2007 on her 88th birthday. Peacefully, free of pain, allowed to go home with sons Andrew and Tom by her side. She was not afraid. Dear daughter of the late Thomas & Cathleen Quirk. Beloved wife of the late Charles. Loving mother of Helen Carr (Edward), Mary Mask (Raymond), Charles (Wendy), Tom (Deirdre), Margaret Ann (Peggy), Michael and Andrew (Andy). Beloved grandmother of Timothy, David, Melissa, Monica, Michael, Jane, Janice, Jennifer, Veronica, William, Thomas, David and Matthew. Great grandmother of David, Christopher, Michael, Andrew, Neil, Logan, Maren, Brandon, Kendal, Garrett and Spencer. Cherished sister of Muriel, Madeline, Kathleen, Charlotte, Carol, Dorothy, Robert and the late Mary, Lorne, Jack and Melvin. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Margaret was a woman of great faith, personal strength and courage. Her children were her first priority and she instilled in them the belief that with personal determination, all things are possible. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment will follow in Iroquois Falls. The family would like to thank all those who came into her life and made such a difference these last seven years; her best friends Edmond & Helen Rosset, Mary Chant, Kelly, Theresa & Joan, Tammy & Amy, Theresa & Don, Ann & Jim, Jamie & Sean, Betty, Susan, Paul, Bonnie and Gerry. Many heartfelt thanks for all the support from Algoma Access, The Red Cross, Bayshore and Dr.’s Febbrarro, Gould, Fratesi and the wonderful nursing staff of 200Y.
