Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, May 1, 2009 with his family by his side at the age of 66. Much loved husband of Elaine for 21 years. Beloved son of the late Lucien Boyer and the late Dorothy Blackwell. Father of Richard Jr. (Sonja), Todd Edgar, Jessica Gaetz (Michael) and Clorissa (Lee). Step father of Raymond Jr. (Sharron). Grandfather of 16. Great grandfather of 1. Brother of Robert (Joan), James “Skip” (Janet) and the late Walter “Peter” (Joan).Son-in-law of the late Fred and Vera Desjardins. Dear brother in law of Armond (Linda), Brenda (John), Marilyn (Brendan) and the late Charles Desjardins. Dear uncle and friend to many. Special “brother” to Joe Finley (Leita). Mickey will be remembered as the cook who ran the Breakfast Club and the Barbeques at Tendercare.
