BOYER, Mr Albert (Lloyd)

Peacefully, surrounded by his family the Detroit Red Wings' number one fan passed away at the Thessalon Hospital on Friday September 18, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Lloyd Boyer in his 76th year loving father of Karen Little (Jim) of Windsor, Brad Boyer (Kim) of Sault Ste. Marie, Janna Friend (Rob) and Susan Quinton both of Windsor. Special grandfather to Jimi, Carli, Kayla Maglovsky, Kayla, Brandon, Jesse, Jonathan, Jill, April, Rebecca, Angelina and Gordie and great grandfather to brand new grandson Dominic. Dear brother of David (Marion), Fronna Cote both of Thessalon, Eldridge, and the late Eager (late Mae), Mary Showan (late Fred), Clifford, Rudolph (Joyce) and Basil. Special brother-in-law to Gabrielle Boyer the Butson family and fondly remembered by Phyllis Boyer. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Lloyd will be sadly missed by his many friends and hockey and fishing buddies. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon where friends may call on Tuesday September 22, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service at St Ambrose Catholic Church, Thessalon on Wednesday September 23 at 10 o'clock. Cremation. Donations to Thessalon Hospital or the Thessalon Minor Hockey gratefully accepted.
