We are sad to announce the passing of Bruce Bouckley at the age of 81 at Algoma Residential Community Hospice in Sault Ste. Marie.
Bruce is survived by his wife Joan of 57 years and his two daughters, Jane and Jennifer. Born in Oshawa to Evelyn and Aubrey Bouckley.
He retired to Sault Ste. Marie at age 53 from Mississauga in 1996 after a career in Finance and Real Estate. Throughout the years Bruce has served as President for the Hamilton Credit Granters, Director of the Mississauga Real Estate Board (Ethics), MAIL (for the mentally challenged) as President, TD Bank Student Loans Committee-Director, and Chairman of Bridgeview Condos.
Bruce and Joan loved to travel. Visiting all the provinces in Canada, most states in the USA and trips to Europe. As snowbirds to Southern USA, they then purchased a property in Florida and spent 5-6 months there for many years.
A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers and as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to A.R.C.H. would be greatly appreciated by the family.
