BONIFERRO, Rita Natalie Greco

passed away peacefully with her children at her side on Monday August 18, 2003 in her 78th year. Loving wife of the late Albert Boniferro Sr. Mother of Maria de Eyre (David), Stan (Petra), the late Albert Jr., Steve (Nancy), Ann (Rich Bannard), Jim (Cathy McLelland), John (Pam) and Paul. Grandma Nonna will be always loved and forever missed by Michael, Christopher and Steven de Eyre; Erin, Mathew, Daniel and Sarah Boniferro; Amanda, Melissa and Cameron Boniferro; Jordin and Nathaniel Boniferro; Nicholas and Julia Bannard, Josh and Luke Boniferro. Also survived by sisters Isabelle Rebellato (late husband Tony), Sr. Immaculata, Lucille Daly (Dr. Gene), Carolyn Landay (late husband Andy) and Sr. Leila Greco and sister-in-law Betty Greco. Predeceased by her parents V.E. Greco and Bridget Greco, brothers Anthony, Dr. Eugene Greco (Margaret) and Dr. E.M. Greco; and sisters, Evelyn Nanne (Mike Sr.) and Rose Francolini (Steve). Always loved by sister-in-law Anita Greenwood (Ron) and the Boniferro and Adamo clan. She will be missed by many loving nieces and nephews from the Rebellato, Nanne, Daly, Landay, Greenwood and Greco families, all of whom will have a lasting memory of Aunty Rita through her unique Christmas stockings and art. Join Rita’s family in a celebration of her life at a visitation at Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Wednesday, August 20, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and a funeral mass on Thursday, August 21, 2003 at Precious Blood Cathedral at 11:00 am with Rev. Bernard Burns officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Sault Area Hospital, Dr. E. M. Greco Foundation or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.
