Wendy passed away on September 24, 2023, and has been warmly accepted into the arms of her Saviour after a courageous and faith filled battle.  We carry on her mission of sharing light and love with those around us.

Cherished wife and grade school sweetheart of the late Glen, much loved mother and confidant of Brandi and Blake (Megan), and most amazing Grandma of Grace and Gwen.

Wendy was born the oldest child of late Norm and late Marilyn, partners in adventure and sister to Jan (late Steve), Heather (late Tim), Patti (Al) and Norm (Annie). Marrying the youngest of the Bonenfants blessed her as the little sister of late Jean, Pat (Bob), Terry (Cathy), late Darlene, Debbie (Lawrence), late Eddie (Judy) and Vince (Val).

She was a treasured Sister, Sister-in-law, Aunt(ie), Cousin, friend and caring shoulder to many family members and friends of family; both blood and faith bound.

Quick to share a laugh, an embrace or a personalized song or poem, Wendy has always been creative and used her gifts in many different ways over the years to share joy, not the least of which in her Christmas bread baking.

Mom was active in her faith and in her church, living out her beliefs with every step she took and every breath she breathed.

She embodied and exampled light and love for so many and focused much of her energy on planting seeds of faith in the children and youth she worked amongst.

Her love, light and legacy live on in all who knew her and continued to share their light in the darkness.

If you feel led to give, memorial donations to ARCH, Christ Church (both payable online https://www.archhospice.ca/ https://christchurchssm.com/donate/# or by cheque) or in trust for the education of her grandchildren (payable by cheque only made out to Brandi Bonenfant) would be much appreciated.

Cremation has taken place. A visitation and memorial service will be held at Christ Church (585 Allens Sideroad, SSM), on October 7, 2023, starting at 9:30 a.m., with interment at West Korah Cemetery. Light lunch to follow.
