Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the age of 74 years. Formerly married to the late Herbert Leo Boissoneau. Loving mother of Herbie Jr. (Juanita), Greg Sr. (Samantha Cadreau) and Angela McLean (late Dan). Proud grandmother of Gregory Jr., Cody and Gregson. Daughter of the late Alexjo "Alex" and Mela Griego. Sister of Sike Griego (Maria), Louie Griego (late Lola), Joe Griego (Jennifer), Frances (Lloye Hilton) and Paul Griego. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Idalia survived two battles with cancer and other struggles in life. She was a feisty outgoing woman who enjoyed cooking. Cared greatly about her family.

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free
To follow the path God made for me.
I took His hand when I heard Him call.
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
For I found peace at last, that day.
