The family announces with deep regret the sudden but peaceful passing at the age of 79. Son of the late Lawrence and Irene (Whalen). Beloved husband of Marjorie and the late Marilyn (Pine). Dear father of Janice, Sherry (Andrew), Kim (Lionel) and Kevin (Brenda). Step father of Veronica (Sonny), Mary Jo (late Danny), Dave (Carla), Rose (Dan), Audrey (Denny), John (Sally) and Russ (Ann). Loving grandfather of Kevin, Kenny, Kaitlyn, Kalium, Spencer, Brooke, Shawn, Davey, Angie, Fawn, Stephie, Josh, Joe, Mariah, Jeff and the late Albert. Great grandfather of MacKenzie, Tyler, Zac, Dakota Ray, Jackson and Patrick. Brother of John (Bud), Carol, Linda, Fred, Gordie and predeceased by Barbara, Stella, Larry, Andy, Albert, Joyce, Eddie and Anthony. Also survived by in excess of 350 nieces and nephews of 3 generations. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, December 10, 2010 from 3 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 12 noon. Interment Garden River Roman Catholic Cemetery.
