Peacefully at Extendicare Mapleview Nursing Home on April 18, 2024, at the age of 85.
Predeceased by her husband Kenneth Angus Blue (2018) and her son Kenneth Robert Blue (2014). Mother of Cindy Didier (Barry). Grandmother of Timothy Didier (Courtney), Matthew Didier (Dubravka Gavric) and Laura Strom (Neil). Great Grandmother of Alex and Simon Didier and Eva and Alice Strom.
Daughter of the late James and Sadie Douglas. Survived by her siblings Edna Rush, Harold Douglas, Helen Gula, Reta McMann (Larry), Daniel Douglas (Kirby), Barbara Bergeron (Robert) and Donna Douglas. Predeceased by her siblings James Douglas, Ruth Douglas and William Douglas.
Cremation has taken place. As per Velma’s wishes, there will be no service
