Marie Antoinette Blatter passed away at the Sault Area Hospital Nursing Home on Friday, January 17, 2003 at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Paul Louis Blatter. Dear mother of Paul, Robert, Suzanne, Pete (Carrie), Raymond (Nancy), Carmen (Linda) and the late Emmanuel. Grandmother of Raymond, Elizabeth and Andre Taavel (Kellee), Michelle Allaire (Nicolas), Renee, Denis, Monique, Curtis, Serge, Chantal, Christophe and Gabriel Blatter. Great grandmother of Julia, Emily and Jacob. She was predeceased by many brothers and sisters. A private family funeral service will be held at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road, 945-7758) on Monday, January 20, with Rev. Bernard Burns officiating. Mrs. Blatter will be buried beside her late husband in Laverlochere, Quebec in the spring. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.
