With family by her bedside at the Sault Area Hospital Plummer Site on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Wife of the late Harold Blackmore. Mother of Marilyn Martineau (Maurice) and Jim (Mary Webster). Daughter of the late Willard and Annie Major. Sister of Marge Roberts (Albert), Bill Major, Shirley Crack (George), Ruth Waltman (Paul), Lois Della Savia (Lido), James Major (Dorieta) and Bob Major (Jean). Predeceased by her sister Lucy Schinners (late Stan). Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 4 p.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 7 p.m. with Mr. George Wright officiating.
