BLACK, (nee Gauveau) Rolande (Raye)

Peacefully at Stoney Creek Lifecare Centre on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, in her 79th year. Rolande Black, wife of the late John (J.B.) Black. Dear mother of Susan and Peter and his wife Donna. Loving grandma of Ashley and Danielle. Survived by her sisters Terry and Jeanne and many nieces and nephews. Raye was a long time member of the CWL at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Hamilton. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, January 21 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
