Peacefully at the F. J. Davey Home on Friday, October 12, 2018 in his 88th year. Predeceased by his parents Oswald and Gertrude Black. Dear brother of late Jim, late Ben, late Eileen Hunter, late Lloyd (Alma), Wanda Killins (late Gerald), Olive Jones (late Basil), late Bill (Kay), Garry (Ethel), late Lee (Carmen) and Sharon Rathbone (Marvyn). Mel will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Blackie will be missed. A private family service was held at Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 1 pm. Mrs. Helen Smith officiated. Interment Sands Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the F. J. Davey Home or the charity of your choice.
