Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the age of 86 years.
Beloved wife of Stan Black. Loving mother of Todd Black (Sherri) and Tracy Lajunen (John). Nana to Daniel (Amy), Benjamin (Kaylan), Nathan, Ryan, Logan and Dylan. Predeceased by brothers Ross and Bruce Saunders. Life long friend of Pat Allen.
Grace particularly enjoyed her time with her UCW Unit and the individual members. She was a life member of Central United Church UCW, Archivist for the Algoma Presbyterial, a past volunteer at the Art Gallery of Algoma and a past Board Member of Big Sisters. Grace cherished her time with the Seniors Knitting Group and her Exercise Group.
Family and Friends are invited to visit at the Central United Church on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 12 noon to 1:45 p.m. Memorial Service to follow in the Church at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Laurie Stevenson officiating. Memorial donations made payable by cheque or online to Central United Church, SAH Foundation, or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
