BITONTI, Salvatore (Sam)

It is with great saddness to announce the sudden
passing of Salvatore (Sam) Bitonti at the General Hospital on Sunday, June
1, 2008 at the age of 56 years. Beloved and treasured son of Barbara
Bitonti and the late Pasquale Bitonti. He leaves behind devoted brothers
and sisters, Joe (Beverly), Frank (Norma), Theresa Zanatta (Rick), Rose
Bruni (Marchy), and Tony (Julie). Adored and unforgettable nephew to
Luceriza Brunetti, and also a special nephew Lucia Brunetti (late Giuseppe)
and Rosina Bitonti (late Antonio). Sam will be so sadly missed by his
nephews and nieces: Pat (Heidi), Anthony (April), David, Daniel, Nicholas,
Kristopher, Andrea, Michael, Angela, Mark and Nicole. Sam will be forever
remembered as the Rock and Pillar of the Bitonti family. He was forever
making people happy with his passion for carpentry work. Sam was a well
respected member of the Sault community and devoted many years of service
to Sault Kiwanis Club and the Moose Lodge. He will be dearly missed by his
family and his many friends in the Sault. Friends are invited to join the
family for visitation at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road
- 945-7758) on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Funeral
Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory's Church on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at
10:00 am. with Monsignor Victor Amadio officiating. Entombment at Holy
Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the SAH (Sault
Area Hospital - Critical Care Fund) would be appreciated by the family.
