The family of Margaret is sad to announce her passing on Monday, March 18, 2019 in her 60th year. She was the much loved sister of Grahame and Tasia Gordon. Special Auntie Margie, or affectionately known as "A Margs", to Hilary Cutler (Brad), Heather Gordon (Tom), and Gillian Gordon (Brent). Great-aunt of Claire Cutler. She was predeceased by her husband Louis Bernardi, her parents George and Arlene Gordon, and her step-mother Beverley Gordon. Margaret worked for many years for the Algoma District School Board. She began at the Board Office then worked as a secretary at Lakeway, Bawating, Korah and the Sault Ste. Marie Adult Learning Centre. Her co-workers and friends at work were her extended family. She also enjoyed working at Agero for the last three years after retiring from ADSB. Margaret was very talented at knitting, crocheting and many other types of crafting. She loved to try new patterns and wools and had many other interests. Her quick wit and dry humour will be greatly missed. Friends are invited to visit at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E, 705-759-2522) on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Memorial service in the chapel at 1:00 pm with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial contributions (made payable by cheque) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
