Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital, Plummer Site on Friday, August 17th, 2007. Beloved wife for 52 years of the late Attilio Vittorio Berdusco and daughter of the late John David and Florence Marguerite (Duncan) Cameron. Loving mother to David (Maria) Berdusco of Pittsburgh, PA, Julie (Michael) Vikken of Sault Ste. Marie, Brian (Robina) Berdusco of Hanmer, Trina Quinn of Georgetown and Marsha (Frank) Barsanti of Oxford, MI. Loving and nurturing Nana to her grandchildren Andrea Berdusco, Katie, Sarah and David Vikken, Ian, Amy and Dana Berdusco, Joey, Jake and Taylor Quinn and Madisyn and Cameron Barsanti. Aunt and Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews. The devoted partner to Attilio’s many community contributions. She dedicated numerous hours to Rotary Community Day, Rotary Ann Past President, and St. Monica’s Church in Wawa as the organizer of the bingo for several decades. Audrey always put family, friends and the Lord first. She received her nursing degree from St. Joseph General Hospital in North Bay and pursued her nursing career with much dedication in North Bay, Toronto (Sunnybrook) and Wawa. She was present at the delivery of many wonderful babies and remembered them all by name. She provided volunteer caregiver services and personal support to many. Audrey truly believed in the good in everyone and devoted her life to making the communities in which she lived, better. She so cherished her special thoughts and prayers for many close friends and family. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, August 20, 2007 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 10:00am. Father Michael Williams and Rt. Rev. Victor Amadio officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to The Leprosy Mission Canada, Sault Area Hospitals or the charity of your choice.
