Lillian, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully departed this world on Monday, April 15, 2024, at the NHS-Port Colborne Site. She was 82 years old. Surrounded by love, her devoted son, who was also her cherished confidant and closest companion, held her hand as she transitioned. Lillian's passing reunites her with her beloved parents, Stanley and Ruby (née Tanner), and her dear brother Leonard.

Lillian's indomitable spirit and zest for life will forever be cherished by her adoring children: Angel (Ryan), Starr (Jon), and Grant (Maria); her grandchildren: Natalie, Charles, Eli, and Lee; her loving sisters: Bertha, Win (the Late Jim), and Cathy; her caring brothers: Ed (Michelle), Ian, and Ken (Carol); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She shared an unbreakable bond with her son, akin to two peas in a pod, a testament to the depth of their connection.

A force of nature, Lillian was renowned for her sassiness, unwavering determination, and boundless courage. Her sharp wit brought joy to all who knew her, even in her final days. She found solace in the simple pleasures of life, indulging in hobbies such as knitting, crocheting, and tackling word searches. A connoisseur of game shows and an avid fan of Olympic Figure Skating, she found delight in every moment.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate PSWs from Care Partners and Kathleen from CBI, whose dedication ensured Lillian's comfort and well-being. Special thanks are also extended to Maria's friend, Colleen, whose selfless care provided solace during Lillian's final journey.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services in Welland. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. To honor Lillian's memory, spend some time searching for amazing treasures at your local thrift shop.
