Peacefully, surrounded by family and friends at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, May 20, 2011. Survived by his beloved wife Sheila and his devoted children John Beishlag of Toronto and Joanne Beishlag (Tim) of Sault Ste. Marie, and by his sister Emily Lietz of California. Brother-in-law of Margaret Burgoyne of Timmins and of John Burgoyne (Helen) of Toronto. Edmund is predeceased by his father Frederick Beishlag (1944) and his mother Josephine (McCoy) Beishlag (2005). Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 6 – 9 pm. Funeral Mass celebrated from St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 11 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to the St. Gerard Majella Organ Fund or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
