Beilhartz, Helen Mae (Nott)

October 19, 1928 - December 31, 2010
It is with immense sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Predeceased by her parents Louella Donaldson (Wilfred) and Thomas Nott. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend Lorne, (soul mates for 60 years), their four children Cheryle, Dennis (Lynne), Rodney (Ferne), Karen (Karl). Helen is also survived by ten grandchildren Tanya (Robert), Christina (Adam) and Natallia, Karl, Paul and Dean, Michelle and David, Kyle and Tyson and one great grand-child Tyrian.
She is predeceased by her brother Ken (Pat), survived by brothers Melvin (Alfreda), George (Irene), sister in-law Gladys (Ernie), brother in-laws Willys and Allan (Marie). She was also a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Helen gave an abundance of love to her family and friends. Her zest for life and compassion remains an inspiration to us all. She was a rare gem, both a gifted domestic engineer and an avid outdoorswoman. She enjoyed cottage life, picking berries, and sharing many travel adventures with her loving husband Lorne and other family members.
Friends are invited to visit at Arthur Funeral Home on Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral and celebration of Helen’s Life will be held at the Emmanuel United Church, 224 Bennett Blvd on Monday January 3 at 11:00 a.m. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or Emmanuel United Church Memorial Fund.
