Beemer, Kathleen Sarah

Died suddenly at her home in Sault Ste. Marie on Thursday August 30, 2012.  Kay Beemer, in her 80_^th year, beloved wife of the late Donald Beemer (1990).  Loving mother of Linda Lamorie (Jack) of Blind River, Donna Kay Hanlon (Chris) of Portugal Cove Newfoundland, Todd Beemer (Joanne) and Greg Beemer (Diane) both of Blind River.  Special grandmother to John Lamorie (Vicki), Tracey Cayen (Paul), Crystal Gaudreau , Chantal Mayer (John), Caroline Chaput (Brad), Heather Rousselle, Jacob Beemer and great grandmother of Natasha Turcotte (Eric), Jade and Brent Cayen, Katelyn and Kyle Lamorie, Austin and Shelby Gaudreau and Nathan Meyer.  Great great grandmother to Hailey and Ava Turcotte.  Kay was the proud matriarch of five generations of family.  Very special friend and companion to Lynn Keating.  Daughter of the late Myrtle Stefishen and the late William McCaig.  Dear sister of Bill McCaig ( late Dorothy ), Norman St. John and the late Evelyn Brown (Late Harvey), Fran Rutledge (Morris) and  Patsy Persian (Bill).  Dear sister-in-law of Oakley Beemer (Alene), Stan Beemer (Colleen), Merlyn Beemer (Helen), Joyce McKay (Ian), Irma Gail Barber (Glen), Lyman Beemer (late Maureen), Gene Beemer (late Marj), and the late Ellwood Beemer (Shirley). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. At Kay’s request  cremation has taken place.  A private graveside service at Spruce Grove Cemetery, Iron Bridge will be held at a later date.  Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation gratefully accepted.  www.menardfh.com
