BEDRYK, Walter

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Sault Area Hospital Plummer site in the Palliative Care unit, in his 86th year. He will be lovingly missed by his best friend and wife Elizabeth, Predeceased by his wife Jean and his infant daughter Natalie. He will be missed by his children Kathy Morrison (Jim), Judie Yanni (Disma), Gary Bedryk (Marlene) and Ron Fedak. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jean Headrick (Rob), Kristin Morrison (Ken) the late Jim Jr., Natalie Yanni, Simone Bedryk (Grayson), Desiree Bedryk, Jean-Luc Bedryk and Kathy Politano (Anthony) and his great- grandchildren Ava, Spencer, Thea, Kasey and Zachery. Brother-in-law to Fern Sandvik, Jennine MacLeod and Don McFarling (Elaine). Uncle to Regina Beben. A special thank you to Dr. David Fera, Kathy Palombi and the Palliative Care nurses at the Plummer Hospital. Walter was a proud Canadian who served in the Second World War, he was fluent in five languages and traveled to all corners of the world in the service of his country. Cremation and a private graveside service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Walter may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
