Cora Bate passed away after a battle with cancer at the General Hospital on Thursday, August 22, 2002 in her 59th year. Beloved wife of John. Loving mother of Shawn (Terri), Catherine and Bronwen Bate. Cherished grandmother of Travis, Taryn, Taylor, Nichole and Derek. Daughter of Arie Ram and late Elsie. Dear sister of Ida Ram, Elsie Charron (Don), Arie Ram (Madelaine), Dorothy Ram (Phillip Freeze) and Marlene Zsiros (Lloyd). Special niece of Aunt Jean. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, August 25, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, August 26th at 11:00 a.m. with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial donations to the SAH Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
