Loved husband of the late Violet (Therrien). Beloved son of the late Fred & Caroline (Pirie) Barty. Much loved father of William (Bill) Jo-Ann of Saskatoon, SK. Loving grandfather of Kristen, Billie-Jo (Myles Carbno). Loving great grandfather of Bailey. Much loved brother of the late Harvey (late Lottie), Raymond (late Ida) of Chapleau, ON, Carolyn Houghton (Donald) of North Bay, ON, the late Stanley of Thunder Bay, ON and many nieces and nephews. Long time resident of Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Ron was born and raised in Chapleau, he will be remembered for his participation in winter sports, Bridge walks, Friends of Bill W., Strong Family Ties, his sense of humor and coffee chats. Long time (retired) employee of MNR. Special thanks to Jennifer, Donna and John for their devotion to his well-being. At Ron’s request there will be no visitation or funeral.
