Peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home on Thursday, January 4, 2007 with her family by her side, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Maurice. Loved mother of Jim (Rose), Maxine Pollock (Bob), Carrie Blatter (Pete) and the late Rose Marie Nelson (Bob) and Marilyn Jean Nelson (Ralph). Dear grandmother of 11, Great grandmother of 7 and Great Great grandmother of 2. Sister of Edith Kent (Harold), Dorothy Wigmore (Stan) and predeceased by her sister Grace Hollingsworth (late Lloyd) and her brothers Jack (late Ella), Herb (late Helen), Al (Edith), Ross and Roy. Sister-in-law of Leonard Barton (late Faye) and predeceased by Tom Barton (Deirdre), Frances Bishop (late Roy) and Jim. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews. A private family service was held on Saturday, January 6, 2007. Mr. Bruce Cain officiated. Interment took place at the Mountain Cemetery, St. Joseph Island. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Barton & Kiteley Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.
