Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the age of 88 years. Mary is now reunited with her beloved husband, Odo Barsanti. Proud mother of Fred (Debbie) and Adele Brescacin (Peter Beard). Cherished Grandmother of Melissa Valente, Aaron Barsanti (Catherine) and Alana Jones (Kyle). Great-grandmother of Ella and Lola Valente, Dillon and Sydney Barsanti and Noah, Luca and Aliyah Jones. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Adeline Ruicci. Sister of the late Ann Greco (late Albert), late Gildo Ruicci (Michele) and the late John Ruicci (late Mary). Son-in-law of the late Frediano, late Maria Barsanti and the late Beppa. Sister-in-law of the late Earl Barsanti (late Eda), late Reno (Stella), Elsie Fabbro (late Giulio) and Victor Barsanti (Menica) and the late Gino Barsanti (late Gina). Mary will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Gregory’s Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to the FJ Davey Home Residents Council or the SAH Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
