Passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the age of 79. She is now reunited with her loving husband Bobby Barsalou. Lorraine will be dearly missed by her children Abbie (Sherry) and David. Special Nana of Britney and Carter. Daughter of the late Fred and the late Mary Nebesniuk. Daughter-in-law of the late Eugene (Frenchie) and the late Rose Barsalou. Sister of the late Fred (Sonny) and Mary Nebesniuk. Sister-in-law of Lucille and John Chiappetta, Pat and Ed Barsalou, Eva and Frank Psota and Linda and Bob Ledgerwood. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Lorraine was a cousin and best friend to Bernice and Stan Pawelek and friend Mary and Gerry Amadio.
A very special and important person in Lorraine’s life was Marney Pezzutto. The family will forever be grateful for her compassion and kindness. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Rassouli, Dr. Shehata and especially Dr. Booth for your care during Lorraine’s illness. Thank you to all the nurses, PSWs, staff and volunteers at ARCH and Bayshore nurse Andrea and Kim for the great care.
In respecting Lorraine’s wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society or the Sault Ste. Marie Soup Kitchen would be greatly appreciated by the family.
