BARNES, Mr. Paul

On Tuesday, December 13, 2005, after a tough battle, is gone but not soon forgotten. Matinenda has lost another long time resident. Paul Barnes in his 76th year, husband of the late Doreen Barnes (Whitfield) and special companion of Gayle Rutledge of Blind River. Predeceased by parents Albert and Antoinette Barnes. Loving father of Albert (Helen), June Krupka (Ed) and Linda Wilson (Curly) all of Sault Ste. Marie and the late Larry. Special grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Annette Fournel (Henry) of Papineauville, Albert (Cecile), Adelore (Aliceson) both of Sault Ste. Marie and the late Delores St. Pierre (late John) and Lou (Honey). Dear brother-in-law of Mervyn Whitfield (late Jean). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon, where friends may call on Friday, December 16, 2005 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service at the Thessalon Church of Christ, Albert Street Thessalon on Saturday, December 17 at 10:00 o'clock. Cremation, with spring interment in Maple Ridge Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Barnes, all doctors on call and the nurses at acute care at the Blind River District Health Centre.
