 The family of Jacqueline (Liddell) Bain wishes to announce her passing in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on Saturday, February, 12, 2022.  She was born in 1938 in Saint John, New Brunswick to Thomas and Marjorie Liddell.

Jacqueline grew up in Saint John and was a member of Trinity Anglican Church. She sang in the choir and took part in many of the church groups.  She was very musical and taught piano.  Late in life she would entertain the seniors in nursing homes by playing the piano and having them sing along to the songs from "the olden days".  She was a talented dancer performing in productions such as "The Nutcracker" when she was in High School.  She also won several awards for her diving with the swim team.  Jacqueline was the first female president of the Saint John High School Student Council.  She spent most of her married life in Sault Ste. Marie.

Jacqueline is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Rob McAllister of Pickering, Ontario; her three sisters, Carol Brophy (late Ross) of Quispamsis, N.B., Daphne Wilson (Winston) of Lorneville, N.B., Nancy Smith (Malcolm) of Saint John, N.B.  as well as several nieces and nephews.

Jacqueline was predeceased by her daughter Elizabeth, her parents and special uncle John Thorne who instilled in her the love of music.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service that will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 11:00 am in the chapel at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522).  Please book your attendance at the service online at https://signup.com/go/KoHhnqN.
