BAILEY, Leonard Frank Jr. (January 27, 1944- July 12, 2023) - Passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

Such a beautiful peaceful  passing..surrounded by those he loved and who loved him. After a long, courageous battle with cancer, our hearts are broken but we had to let you go. Our father, cherished love, and grandfather is finally at peace.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his heart and soul mate of 35 years, Marsha Farrell. Predeceased by his parents  Leonard Peter Bailey and Helen Loretta Bailey. Also recently predeceased by his daughter Cheryl.  He was the dear, sweet big brother to Sylvia Soucie (Doug) of Elliot Lake.

Much loved and eternally missed Father of Christine Stitt (Marco Palombaro), Sheila Patrick (Tom), Derick Bailey (Angie) and the late Cheryl Bailey.  Stepdad of Mark Farrell. Cherished grandpa of 11 grandchildren Amanda and Trevor Stitt, Alastor and Erin Patrick, Destinee, Hailee, Devin and Lexi Bailey-Jones, Jamie and Sabrina Bailey and Liam Farrell. Great grandpa to Kierra Jones-Trudeau.

Len was a larger than life man who loved to hunt, fish, ride his 4-wheeler and go camping. He sure loved to tell a good fishing story - and man, he had lots of ‘em!  A retired steelworker, he always worked his hardest to provide for those he loved. His family was everything, and he always went to great measures to make sure we were well cared for.  He will be missed by his many dear friends and family, blended family, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Special heartfelt thanks to cousin Norm Seguin for his unwavering support. Len absolutely adored you all.

The family wishes to thank the paramedics, SAH staff, all of his doctors, especially Dr Karen Booth, and the nurses and staff of ARCH for their exceptional care of our Leonard. He said you were his “angels” and he appreciated you all so very much.

Dad, you lived surrounded by love, may you finally find the peace you so deserve.

Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E 705-759-2522). In lieu of flowers, Len has requested that a donation in his memory be made to SAH Foundation or to ARCH Hospice.  Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.arthurfuneralhome.com for the Bailey family.
