It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Audrey Ellen Baic (Leroux) after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the age of 87 with her family by her side.
Loving wife of Richard for 66 years. Mother of Robin Pinder (George), Tracy Hammell, Michael Baic (Ann Mitchell) and Tim Baic (Bette Ann). Grandmother of Tyson Hammell (Stephanie Corriveau), Caleb Baic and Brock Pinder. Daughter of the late Elkie and late Sara Jean Leroux (Collins). Sister of Tim Leroux (Janet). Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to our mother’s Palliative Care team, Drs. N. Apostle and W. Chung, Brad Jarratt, Care Coordinator for the NE LIN, and all the PSW’s who cared for our mother. Your kindness and compassion towards her will always be remembered. You lifted her spirits and made her smile when she needed it most.
At mom’s request, a private family service will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to FJ Davey Home Activities or the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be appreciated by the family.
