ARCHIBALD, Violet Margaret

May 18, 1929 – November 9, 2003. Peacefully passed away on November 9, 2003 at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital. Loving wife of the late Robert John Archibald. Survived by her children Edith (Fred) Jewett of Wetaskawin, AB., John (Bev), Pat (Iris) of Coalhurst, AB., Steve (Kathy) of Portland, Oregon, Robert Jr., Harry (Janet), Jerry (Lillian), Gene (Brigitte), Trudy (David) of Sault Ste. Marie. Loving grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Lucy Jackson, Etta Hurley and one brother Gordon Nash, also many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Harry Martin and sisters Grace Hazzard, Jeanette Morley and Frances Martin. Mom was a gentle soul and was well liked by all she met. She was a member of the Prince Women’s Institute in Sault Ste. Marie and enjoyed meeting people and visiting new places. She moved to the Lethbridge area in the fall of 1996 and has resided at the Pyami Lodge in Picture Butte for the past six years. A memorial service to be held on Friday, November 14, 2003 in Lethbridge, AB. A family and friends gathering will be held in Sault Ste. Marie at a later date.
