ANDRETTA, Chester

It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our father Chester Andretta at the Great Northern Nursing Centre on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the age of 83 years.  Chester “PAPA” is survived by his loving family, three sons, Terry (Helen), Steven (Judy) all of the Soo, and Mark (Beverley) Andretta of Vernon, BC, one daughter Karen Bishop of Calgary, AB. Nine grandchildren, Stephanie (Thomas) Burkell of Saskatoon, SK, Erica Bishop of Calgary, AB, Michael and Matt Andretta of Sault Ste. Marie, Brad, Bryan, Katie Andretta, Christopher and Neeley Zaetsoff, all of Vernon, BC. Two great grandsons, Blake and Talin Andretta and his very close friend Lou. He was predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Nella Andretta, one sister Gisuelda of Tombolo, Italy.  Chester was a very devoted father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  A private family service was held. Entombment followed in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. The family wishes to extend our most sincere appreciation to Palma and all staff of GNNC for all the love and care they provided to our father and to the family.  In lieu of flowers those friends wishing to make memorial contributions in memory of Chester may do so to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  (Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 705-759-2522).
