ANDERSON, Irene Elizabeth (Cottenden)

January 7, 1923 - May 22, 2019 - Beloved wife of Wesley H. Anderson for 71 years.  Mother of the late Jack, Lynda and Wendy.  Grandmother of Cyndi (Jeff), Michael Bryan (Jodi), Sheri (Chris) and Michael John.  Great grandmother of Megan, Emma, Aimée, Avery, Michaela, Johnathon, Tristan, Logan and Rayna.  Sister of the late Lorne Cottenden (late Mildred) (late Lydia).  'Little Bird' to friend Carl Edwardson.  Cousin to the remarkable Vi Henderson.  Many thanks are extended to Dwight for his endless love, care and extensive efforts in making life better for mom and dad in their senior years.  To Nancy and Carrie for their dedicated assistance.  To the staff of the F.J. Davey Home: Chris in the personals room for her many efforts to locate lost items, the Activities staff especially Sandie and Sarah for their faith in the enduring abilities of the residents, and the overworked yet compassionate staff of B2 for their care and support of mom for the past 10 years and particularly the ever memorable "Jason Sr.".  A private funeral service was held at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E 705-759-2522).  Memorial contributions to the Humane Society, Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
