Peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2006 with his family by his side at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 86. Veteran of WWII RCAF. Beloved husband of Gladys of 58 years. Loving father of Donald and his wife Teresa of Nashville, Indiana and Richard of Calgary, Alberta. Cousin of Suzette Reesor Pike of Markham, Ontario and Georgina Doan Smith of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. Dear brother-in-law of Edith and the late Phil Leishman and Gwen and the late Bob Leishman, the late Morris and the late Laura Leishman. Dear uncle of Evelyn Bailey and her son Robert Bailey, Judith and David Saunders as well as other nieces and nephews. A private service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Rev. Dean Slabbert of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church officiating. Memorial donations made to the Parkinson’s Society, Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A heart felt thank you to Dr. Fraser, Dr. J.K. Mohamed, the Doctors and staff in Emergency, the social worker at the hospital, the staff of the Acute Cardiac Care Unit, one special nurse of Acute Care, and all those who have shown acts of kindness to Andy over these past few years.
