We sadly regret to announce the passing of Cheryl, at home with family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Dear wife and best friend of her late "Angel", Jay and loving mother of the late Corey. She will be truly missed by her fur baby Abby. Daughter of the late Norman and Ruby Donaghue. Sister of Lyn Donaghue (Kim) of Winnipeg. Daughter-in-law of the late Wilfred and Hazell Ambeault. Sister-in-law of Judith Linn (David), John Ambeault (Tammy) and Joseph Ambeault (Wanda). Cheryl will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and godchildren.
We want to thank all the special friends in our lives for the care, food, help, visits, phone calls, prayers and especially the "night shift team". We could not have made it through this journey without you. Our Island is a special place to live. A very special thank you to Dr. Karen Booth, Dr. Eric Haapala, Amy, Jessica, Nicole and the staff at the Trefry Centre.
A graveside service will be held at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Jocelyn Township on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 1 pm. Rev. Faye Stevens officiating. Lunch and a Celebration of Life to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 374.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations (payable by cheque) to Dr. H.S. Trefry Centre or to the Richards Landing Children's Library would be appreciated.
