Suddenly at his residence in Iron Bridge , Monday, February 11th, 2008 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Mary Allen. Dear father of Michael Allen of B.C. , Terry Allen (Carolyn) of Port Elgin, Mary-Jo Davies (Bill) of B.C. and Lorraine Swanson (Don) of Cobourg. Dear grandfather of Mark, Glenn, Ben, Amanda Chris Allen and Matthew Davies. Dear step-father of Laura, Chris and Stephen Swanson. Dear brother of Leonard Allen (late Irene) of Sault Ste Marie and the late Evelyn Walker (late Ray Walker) and sister- in-law Pat Walker. Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River, Friday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service to be held Saturday, February 16, at 11 am from the Iron Bridge United Church with Rev. Norine St-Jean officiating. Interment in Spruce Grove Cemetery, Iron Bridge. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Sudbury Cancer Clinic would be greatly appreciated.
