AIKMAN, John-Paul

Posted

The loving and only child of Esther and the late George Aikman started his
second voyage on March 10th, 2005, in his 50th year, after enduring a
grievous illness. He was lovingly cared for by long-time friends, Mesdames
Ginette Valade and Carole Brochu. He was visited, supported and encouraged
in his advervsity by our dear cousins, the Hughes, Murphy, Hopper families
of Toronto and special dear friends Ted and Susan Kelly of Lunenburg. He
will be remembered with affection by Violet and Gordon Sutherland and Dawn
Tassone. Never to be forgotten by childhood friend Petrer Rhind. Also
survived by several aunts and cousins. Following cremation, at his request,
friends in the deaf community and others held a farewell service in
Montreal. A private service to be held with internment in green wood
cemetary. He was a "verray parfit gentil knight."
