AIKMAN, ESTHER MAY

Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital, on Monday May 23, 2011, Esther Aikman in her ninety-sixth year. Wife of the late George Aikman, and beloved mother of the late John Paul Aikman. Daughter of the late Michael and late Tillie May (nee Young) Quilty. Esther was sister to Joan, Margaret, Joy, Lillian, and Veva, and was predeceased by Lorna, Michael and George. Esther will be missed by her relatives and friends in the Njari, Kelly, Hughes/Murphy, Rhind and Sutherland families. At Esther’s request, there is no visitation or service. Cremation will be followed by interment. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Hearing Society would be appreciated. Esther’s family would also like to thank the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association for their kindness to Esther in her stay with them.
