Following a long struggle with mental health and substance addiction, Travis Ahde passed away in Toronto on December 24, 2021 at the age of 41. Loved son of Linda and Delvin Ahde, brother of Jennifer Ahde (Raymond), grandson of Joyce Schryer. Nephew of Oliver Ahde (Sharon), Henry Ahde, Billy Schryer (Karen), Steven Schryer (Shirley), Carole Shaule (Sid), and Carol Dupuis. Predeceased by his grandparents, Armand Schryer, Helvi and Pentti Ahde, his aunt, Polly Tonner (daughter Brittany), and his uncle Joe Dupuis.
Sadly, Travis’ journey through life was a difficult one, however he had a genuine love for his family, Pine Island, music, and many dogs, especially Norton and Ringo.
Many thanks to the PACT Team in Sault Ste. Marie (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) for their years of commitment to Travis’ health and wellbeing. Travis’ ashes will be laid to rest by his immediate family, with these arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home.
