AGNEW, Anne Heigh (November 12, 1928 - December 19, 2023) - peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital surrounded by her family. At the age of 95, she is now reunited with our Dad, James McMath (predeceased 1991).

Loving mum of Bill (Kathy), Joan (George) and John (Wendy). Cherished grandma of James (Jasmine), Brendan (Jamie Lee), Greg (Alex), Lindsay (Jay), Graeme (Kayla), Chrissy (Gary), and Laura (Brandon). Treasured Great Grandma of Lachlan, Lorelei, Gavin, Isabella, Damian, Chase, Brayden and Ryker. Predeceased by siblings Adam and Jean. Loving aunt to many nieces in Canada, UK and NZ.

Mum was born in Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1953. She was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25 Ladies Auxiliary and St. Andrew's United Church.  Mum lived at the Lion's Place for over 20 years and made friends during that time. She was especially close to Colleen, Betty and Jim and cherished their friendships, the many cups of tea together and times shared with them.

The family would like to extend our sincerest thanks and gratitude to the nurses and staff of the SAH ER 3B for the outstanding care and treatment shown to Mum and our family.

As per Mum's wishes, cremation has taken place and graveside service and burial will take place on Friday, December 22nd 2023, 2:00 pm at the Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to the SAH Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East; 705-759-2522).  Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com
