Ailene went to be with her Saviour on Friday, October 1, 2010, after a long battle with Alzheimers, under the loving and excellent care of the staff at the F. J. Davey Home. She was in her 90th year. Ailene was the daughter of the late Wesley Farmer and Margaret Scott and the beloved wife of the late H.G. (Bert) Acheson. Dear mother of Rose Meeks, Norm (Brenda) Acheson and Joy MacDonald. Loving Granny of Pauline (Keith) Scott, Ross Meeks, Megan MacDonald, Alex (Karis) MacDonald, Evan, Jesse, Nathan and Luke Acheson and great grandmother of Andrew and Andrea Scott. She will be greatly missed by her brothers Stewart (Ruby), Don (Pat), and Clifford (June) Farmer and sister-in-law Margaret Acheson. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, October 4, 2010 from 10 am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
