REGINA — The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Canadian receiver Samuel Emilus on Tuesday.
Saskatchewan selected the six-foot-one, 200-pound Emilus in the first round, seventh overall, in the 2022 CFL draft.
Emilus joins the Riders after attending the Arizona Cardinals rookie mini-camp.
Emilus had 17 catches for 257 yard and three touchdowns in eight games last year at Louisiana Tech University.
The Montreal native spent his first three collegiate seasons at the University of Massachusetts.
