Calgary Stampeders defensive co-ordinator DeVone Claybrooks has been released from hospital after more than a week's absence from the team.
Claybrooks was undergoing some tests, according to Stampeders head coach Dave Dickenson, who said Wednesday that Claybrooks "is out of the hospital."
Claybrooks wasn't on the sidelines for Calgary's 39-26 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday.
The 40-year-old is in his third season as Calgary's defensive co-ordinator and seventh on the team's coaching staff.
He was a defensive lineman in the CFL for five seasons, with his last three in Calgary.
The Stampeder defence has been dominant under Claybrooks, giving up the fewest points in the league for three straight seasons.
Dickenson has said the Stampeders will give Claybrooks "as much time as he needs" to manage his health.
Calgary hosts the Edmonton Eskimos on Monday in the annual Labour Day Classic.
