Blue Bombers' wide receiver Addison Richards announces retirement

Winnipeg Blue Bombers wide receiver Addison Richards announced his retirement on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old didn't appear in any games for the Blue Bombers in 2017.

Richards, who was drafted 11th overall by Winnipeg in the 2015 CFL draft, had one reception for 12 yards in 17 career games.

The six-foot-four, 217-pound Regina native was a first-team All-Canadian in 2014 with the University of Regina.
